These runners were happy to see other TCLA'ers cheering from both the sidelines and the course itself. Elizabeth F., in a snappy fluorescent orange running top, made sure no one would miss her. Mike W. cycled along (he was the one club member Dave Afshartous, an original member and coach, noticed as Dave ran 24 in 6:30-per-mile pace as preparation for Boston). Peggy and Lydia also turned much of the race into a long run, but still gave out words of encouragement. Finally, Terence, though not racing, again was around to lend his support. Rumor has it that others in the club may have run the race, but this has not been confirmed at press time. Speaking of the press, thanks go to Tim for his field correspondence.
